Summer Fun!

This is a picture of Holden and I at the aquarium we went to on Monday. He really enjoyed looking at all the fish! His cousins fed snapping turtles and sting rays. We also watched the sharks being fed....dunha, dunha!! The temperature has been over 100 degrees the entire week...whew, not so much fun to be outside unless you are at the pool! We have a 4th of July party this weekend, plus we are celebrating my moms' birthday. It will be a fun filled weekend! Hope you have a nice one too!

Yeah, summer is here and we are loving the warm weather!! We have been enjoying the outdoors...swimming, t-ball games, parties.....lots of fun! We went to a really neat restaurant the other day called Pops. They specialize in soda pop...the atmosphere and food were wonderful! They have every kind of soda pop you can imagine...we will definitly go back! Monday we are going to an aquarium in the Tulsa area! The pic above is from Hayden's 7th birthday party last weekend. Kelly and Jason just put in an amazing pool, so it was a fun pool party! This is Yance and Holden slam dunking a basketball! We have another b-day party tomorrow! Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there! Especially Holden's wonderful da-deee...Yancey!!

This is a video of Holden walking behind his 4-wheeler. He won't walk behind anything else, it's so funny! He also loves to push it with one hand while he crawls...that's pretty hilarious to watch considering it's twice his size!! He's very independent and likes to do things on his own...what a big boy!

All Done!!

We have been teaching Holden some of the basic language of baby sign...like more, milk, and his favorite one...all done...or as Holden says it "DONE!" With his hands raised high...just like the picture. It is sooooo cute! The last few weeks he has been associating it to when he is finished eating, but the other day we were shopping and he was ready to go...he raised his hands and said "done!" It was great to see his understanding stretch beyond meal time. Holden is quite a character!!
