We have been enjoying the warm weather with lots of outside activities. Several weeks ago we started swimming at my sisters' pool. Holden loves the water and is very good about staying in the shallow area and wearing his life jacket. We've also been going to the park, riding bikes and 4-wheelers and this weekend a birthday party at the zoo...and to think, summer hasn't officially began yet!! We've started going to story time at the library every Wednesday and Holden really likes it. Several books are read and we participate in a craft...lots of fun! Holden has developed a love for donuts...but only donuts from the local donut shop. They are beginning to know us very well and all the locals who patron there daily enjoy seeing Holden too. So, with all this donut eating we've really had to crack-down on brushing his teeth, which until this week was a nightmare! Holden would scream/cry and we would eventually have to hold him down to finish the job. Fortunately, we have a sticker chart in place now and it's working!
